Automotive Immunity Equipment (ISO, GMW, SAE, & JASO)
Automotive Immunity Equipment (ISO, GMW, SAE, & JASO)
Renting EMC test equipment for automotive testing provides a cost efficient solution for testing needs without the expensive and timely process of purchasing new equipment. Automotive electromagnetic compatibility pertains to the susceptibility and potential of products and components to emit and be affected by electromagnetic fields. Automotive emi emc simulation for vehicles differs from commercial testing by the large role company based standards play rather than international standards. However, many of these manufacturer standards utilize the ISO series of standards, specifically ISO 7637-2, as a baseline for testing.

Automotive EMC testing is done in a variety of ways to meet the many unique automotive requirements from both international and manufacturer standards. Many manufacturer standards use ISO international standards as a benchmark and require variations to parameters within the standard. When testing for Automotive ESD the most common standard is ISO 10605. The most common non-ESD based ISO standard is ISO 7637. When attempting to meet manufacturer automotive standards ISO waveforms are used as a base line to which modifications are made. Common EMC Testing Car Diagram - Automotive EMC Test Equipment
We carry EMI EMC test equipment manufactured by EM Test and Teseq, including the NSG5500 and LD200N, VDS200N, and UCS200N. They provide equipment that generates load dump, fast transients, and power variations tests required by ISO 7637-2, ISO 16750, SAE J1113 and other generic standards. They are also compliant with many manufacturer's standards, including BMW, Ford, GMW 3097, Chrysler, and Nissan. The EM Test automotive EMI test units are unique, because they can be used separately, or they can be connected and used for the complete series of ISO 7637 tests, with the UCS 200n50 used as the central coupler/decoupler. We also rent Automotive Battery Simulators and Load Dump Generators to facilitate testing to many international and manufacturer standards. Typical Immunity Setup using Automotive EMC Test Equipment
