Overview

The Haefely Hipotronics Axos8 conducted immunity test generator allow for 6kV surge/combination wave testing, 5kV EFT/Burst, and a 7kV Ringwave (optional Dips and Interrupts are availible) and a built-in single phase coupler. This test systems is the higher voltage version of the Axos 5, including a Ringwave Function. 

This Equipment is quite large and needs to ship via freight.  Select Fedex ground (no charge), and then we will call you for a shipping account number or a separate payment for the shipping costs (approximately $200 each way).

This Immunity Test Generator expandable functionality allows for quick and completely automated testing to the most common IEC, EN, ANSI, IEEE and UL standards. This test equipment is user friendly with manual and automated test mode and software assisted test preparation. It provides a touch screen for  efficient and effective manipulation of testing criteria to meet or a diverse set of testing needs. Both Axos units have front panel monitoring ports with built in attenuation allowing for quick ability to verify waveform.

This pulse generator allows for testing to EN/IEC 61000-4-4, EN/IEC 61000-4-5, EN/IEC 61000-4-12 and optional external box for testing per EN/IEC 61000-4-11 and EN IEC 61000-4-29. The Axos unit can either be operated via front panel by large colour graphic interface or remotely from the PC. This product has the ability to change testing parameters while conducting tests and is useful for monitoring and debugging function during design phase as well as compliance and pre-compliance testing.

Overview

This three-phase Coupling/Decoupling Network (CDN) for Surge Combination Wave, Ring Wave and EFT/Burst. It is fully compliant with the standard requirements of IEC/EN 61000-4-4, IEC/EN 61000-4-5, IEC/EN 61000-4-12, ANSI C62.41 and others. It is automatic, changes phase angles and coupling method via selection from front panel of the Axos generator. This CDN must be used with the Axos series of immunity generators and cannot be used with other manufacturer's equipment.

Overview

The EM Test capacitive coupling clamp by EMTest is used to couple pulses to I/O lines required in ISO 7637 waveform 3b and other automotive testing standards. It allows for cable up to 40mm in diameter and has a characteristic impedance of 50 ohms. An ISO 17025 accredited calibration is included in the EMC rental equipment price.

The effective coupling capacitance of the coupling clamp depends on the diameter and the material of the used cables. A typical estimated value can be expected around 100 pF. This clamp is specially designed to meet automotive standards specifically ISO 7637.

The coupling on signal lines of this Automotive EMC Test Equipment can usually not be effected capacitively without interfering with the signal flow. It is often impossible to contact the required circuit (direct), e.g. coaxial or shielded cables. In this case the coupling is realized with the capacitive coupling clamp. The interference simulator can be connected via a coaxial cable on both sides of the ACC coupling clamp.

The Haefely Axos 5 EMI (conducted immunity) test generator for 5kV Surge and EFT with a built-in single phase coupling/decoupling network. A2LA accredited calibration is included in the EMC rental equipment price. This compact Haefely product provides safe and reliable operation by using safety interlock, warning lamp and emergency stop functions helping to ensure safe use.

Overview

The DIP116 by Haefely Hipotronics (in conjunction with Axos 5 Axos 8) is an automatic dips single phase transformer and can be used to simulate power supply failures as Voltage Dips and Interrupts at 0/40/70/80[%] of AC Voltage input. Following the setup with related Axos product it can via the menu option of "Voltage Dips".  The DIP 116 is compliant to EN/IEC 61000-4-11.Voltage dips and short interruptions are caused by faults in the network.

The differential oscilloscope probes normally used for monitoring high voltage surges and transients are generally large and cumbersome (because they are designed for use to 40 kV), unduly sensitive to noise, and difficult to maintain in close compensation adjustment. KeyTek'sModel PK 1001Dis a relatively small, lightweight probe designed to provide accurate transmission of peak surge waves to 6 kV,with fronts from 10 ns to 1.2.

Its relatively low input impedance provides low sensitivity to noise. Quick and convenient to use, the Model PK 1001 requires no ground at the probe tip, and no compensation adjustments. An auxiliary interlock unit ensures a high degree of operator safety during probe use.
