Overview

The EMC Pro Plus made by Thermo Fisher Scientific is a Conducted Immunity Generator designed for 6kV surge/combination wave, 4.4kV EFT/Burst, 100kHz ringwave at 6kV, and dips testing.This test system provides a single unit solution for surge, EFT, ringwave, and dips and interruptions and is upgraded to meet the latest versions of these standards. This test equipment comes with an A2LA ISO 17025 accredited calibration and free technical support. We also offer rentals of the 10x700 Telecom wave board providing capabilities with the EMC Pro Plus platform.

This EMI Immunity Generator is an easy to use, cost effective solution to a diverse set of testing needs. This system provides easy to use front panel display and can be controlled via computer through windows based software. It also monitors output of the coupling unit and automatically switches connections according to coupling mode.

The EMC Pro Plus is designed to test for a variety of EMC immunity industry standards including EN/IEC 61000-4-4, EN/IEC 61000-4-5, EN/IEC 61000-4-11, EN/IEC 61000-4-12, CEMark, and ANSI IEEE C62.41 cat. B. The EMC Pro Plus rental equipment It also can also be configured for custom test protocols to meet specific test requirements using the software and a full line of options and accessories.

Overview

The ECAT EP62 made by Thermo Fisher Scientific / Keytek is designed to provide swells, dips, and interrupts(PQF) on power mains up to 240v and 32a. This Thermo Fisher Scientific EMI immunity test equipment comes with an  A2LA accredited calibration included with rental or purchase. The EP 62 plug-in module requires the ECAT E103 control unit.

This Thermo Fisher Scientific / Keyte test equipment provides single port testing and allows changing tests modes without switching off power to the equipment under test (EUT). This helps testing with the EP62 be conducted efficiently without re-initializing the EUT between tests. This unit can be easily integrated with preexisting ECAT system by sliding the EP62 into open bay of the ECAT E103 control unit.

The ECAT EP62 is designed to test EN IEC 61000-4-11 and is compliant to single phase of this EMI Immunity standard. The modular system provides the ability to be upgraded providing the ability to upgrade test capabilities to meet the newest standard. EN IEC 61000-4-11 sets the immunity test methods and range for equipment connected to low-voltage power supply networks for voltage dips, short interruptions, and voltage variations. It covers equipment not above 16A/phase for connection to 50 or 60 Hz A.C. Part 4-11 falls into the greater structure of EN IEC 61000 which covers broader EMC concepts. Voltage dips and short interruptions are caused by faults in the network, primarily short circuits, in installations or by sudden large changes of load. In certain cases, two or more consecutive dips or interruptions may occur. Voltage variations are caused by continuously varying loads connected to the network against a certain benchmark. This immunity standard categorizes three levels of testing and can be verified by Dips and Interrupts EMC Test Equipment. The three different classes are defined further in the standard allowing testing to be conducted accordingly. This standard does not define testing with pass/fail criteria but on performance criterion, similar to that of other IEC standards.This standard does not cover equipment for connection to 400 Hz A.C. It places regulation on the environment, limits, testing and measurement techniques, installation and mitigation guidelines, and many other criteria.

Section 11 sets the requirements for EMC test equipment to test for voltage dips, short interruptions, and voltage variations. It specifies preventing the emissions of heavy disturbances on power supply and providing voltage dip equal or more severe then required by the standard.
