Solar 9354-2 Rental - EMC Transient Generator per MIL-STD-461 CS116 & DO-160 sec 22

The 9354-2 by Solar Electronics is a specially designed military EMC transient generator to provide the necessary pulses required for testing to several military standards. A2LA accredited calibration is included in the EMC rental equipment price. The Solar 9354-2 includes a panel-mounted digital voltmeter that monitors the adjusted open circuit discharge voltage.

This Military EMC Test Equipment provide nine selectable waveforms, including six damped sinusoidal pulses (10 kHz, 100 kHz, 1 MHz, 10 MHz, 30 MHz, and 100 MHz) and three double exponential pulses (6.4 µS, 70 µS, 500 µS). The 9354-2 goes beyond the more basic 9354-1 and also has the capability for three double exponential pulses (6.4 µS, 70 µS, and 120 µS). Auto pulsing of the sinusoidal repetition rate is internally adjusted from 0.5 to 1.0 pulse per second.

The 9354-2 is a versatile Immunity test generator allowing for testing to MIL-STD-461 CS116 and RTCA DO-160 sec 22. A front panel-mounted push button can be used to manually trigger single pulses. The peak amplitude of the selected output pulse is adjustable as a percentage of the charge voltage. Our EMC rental equipment includes the option of renting the accessory Bulk Current Injection Clamp (BCI) and other accessories required for CS116.


6220-4 / 6220-1B Rental - Solar HV Audio Isolation Transformer

The 6220-4 / Solar6220-1B by Solar Electronics audio isolation transformer allows testing for DO-160 Sec 18,sec 20. The transformer is capable of handing up to 200 W of audio power into its primary over the frequency range 30 Hz to 250 kHz. The turns ratio provides a two-to-one step down to the special secondary winding. The secondary will handle up to 50 A of AC or DC without saturating the transformer.

Another secondary winding is connected to a pair of binding posts suitable for connecting to AC voltmeter as directed by the applicable EMI specifications.The transformer may be used as a 4 Ω primary and 1 Ω secondary or 2.4 Ω primary and 0.6 Ω secondary or 2 Ω primary and 0.5 Ω secondary.
