General Testing Information
Surge testing requires to a variety of different voltage levels depending upon the application and the associated standard. This ~5-6kV systems offer solutions to a variety of higher voltage requirements. As with all surge testing, having the correct coupling capabilities is crucial. Depending upon the generator and testing needs, often times the coupling decoupling network requires communication with the generator and is considered automatic. This is only a consideration if placement of the surge on the usually sine wave is required. Most systems at this higher level, offer both surge, EFT/Burst, ringwave pulse capabilities ideal for a variety of conducted immunity requirements.
