Description
The EMC Partner IMU-MGS is a compact, multifunction EMC immunity test system designed for performing electrical transient testing on commercial and industrial electronic equipment. Combining multiple immunity test functions into a single platform, the IMU-MGS is well suited for EMC laboratories, product development teams, and manufacturers conducting both pre-compliance and compliance testing. Depending on the system configuration, the IMU-MGS can perform surge testing to IEC 61000-4-5 and electrical fast transient (EFT)/burst testing to IEC 61000-4-4, along with additional immunity tests when equipped with the appropriate modules and accessories.
The system incorporates an internal coupling/decoupling network (CDN), allowing surge and EFT disturbances to be coupled directly onto compatible single-phase AC or DC power lines. External coupling networks can also be added for testing three-phase equipment or EUTs with higher power requirements.
Designed to simplify transient immunity testing, the IMU-MGS provides programmable test parameters, automated test sequences, and software-based system control. Compatible accessories such as three-phase CDNs and EFT capacitive coupling clamps further expand its testing capabilities. Its combination of multiple transient functions, flexible configurations, and straightforward operation makes the EMC Partner IMU-MGS a versatile solution for laboratories performing a wide range of EMC immunity evaluations.
