MIL-STD-461 CS101 section of MIL-STD-461 puts forth requirements for conducted susceptibility for power leads. This standard applies interference to the power input of the electrical or electronic equipment. Testing for this military standard applies from 30 Hz to 150 kHz for equipment with current draws less than or equal to 30 Amperes per phase. It also applies to electrical systems that draw more than 30 amps if it has a operating frequency of 150 kHz or less. This standard also defines what constitutes a pass and failing criteria. CS101 is broken down into applicability, limit, and test procedure.
For MIL-STD-461 CS101testing we offer rentals of the Solar Electronics 8850 military power sweep generator. This generator is designed for both this standard and MIL-STD-461 CS01. All of our military susceptibility test equipment rentals come with an accredited calibration and free technical support included in the rental price. This cost efficient solution offers easy to use interface which allows test parameters to be modified via front panel turn nob. The equipment for this standard includes, a signal generator, power amplifier, oscilloscope, coupling transformer, 10 μF capacitor, isolation transformer for oscilloscope use, 0.5 ohm Resistor, and LISNs.
