Overview

The 6512-106R by Solar Electronics are a series of 10µF Feed-Thru Capacitor, ideal for military/avionic RFI/EMI test setups such as MIL-STD-461A/462A and are rented in sets of 2. A2LA accredited calibration is included in the EMC rental equipment price. In this application the capacitor provides a low RF impedance across the power source so that EMI currents produced by the equipment under test can be accurately measured with a current probe.

Overview

The 2854 Solar spike generator for conducted transient susceptibility provides 5 μS ±22% pulse with a 1.5 μS ± 0.5 μS rise time across a 5.0 Ω non-inductive resistor. Our military immunity test rental includes an A2LA accredited calibration included in the EMC rental equipment price. The 2854 provides transient pulse (spike) with adjustable amplitude up to 600V.

This Military EMC Rental Test Generator straight forward, easy to use interface includes nobs allowing for manipulation of testing parameters. Two sets of output terminals allow either parallel or series injection into the power line. The series injection may be used on DC and AC lines. Parallel injection should be used on DC lines only. The output winding for the Solar 2854 used for series injection can carry 25 A of power current.

The 2854 was designed to test to MIL-STD-461 CS106 meeting all requirements from this military standard. With the diverse range of testing capabilities this Solar Electronics product has the potential to test to many other RFI/EMI specifications.
