EN/IEC 61000-3-2 - Limits for harmonic current emissions (equipment input current ≤ 16 A per phase) by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) provides the limitation of harmonic currents injected into the public power lines. This standard is available for purchase at the IEEE Webstore. This is the 5th edition and supersedes all previous versions. EN IEC 61000-3-2 applies to electronics having a rated input current up to and including 16 A per phase and will be connected to low-voltage public power lines. The goal of this standard is to limit harmonics draw by electrical apparatuses maintaining the voltage quality on power lines. This Haronics standard also sets more in depth criteria on when it does not apply including equipment with input power P ≤ 75 W, Professional equipment with input power P > 1 kW, and several others.

Class A:Balanced 3-phase equipment, household appliances excluding equipment identified as class D, tools, excluding portable tools, dimmers for incandescent lamps, audio equipment, and all other equipment, except that stated in one of the following classes.
Class B:Portable tools, arc welding equipment which is not professional equipment.
Class C:Lighting equipment
Class D:PC, PC monitors, radio, or TV receivers. Input power P ≤ 600 W.
