Overview
IEC 60255 which includes several sections, including section 1: common requirements, provides requirement for any combination of devices to form schemes for power system protection for measuring relays and protection equipment. IEC 60255-1 providing common requirements, may not apply to all special applications and may need to be enhanced by relating testing requirements. EN 60255-1 (2010) is equivlant to this standard and can be used a reference for testing. The PDF for both of these standards can be downloaded through the IEC Webstore. The commonly used sections of the overarching standard include part 21-1 vibration, part 26 electromagnetic compatibility, and part 3 single input. These testing requirements only apply to relays in new condition unless otherwise specified. The most recent 2009 version of this standard replaces all previous versions. All of test equipment for this immunity standard comes with A2LA accredited calibrations, required cords for setup, and technical support.
