Section 2 of this automotive radiated immunity standard covers 80MHz to 18GHz and follows the information put forward in ISO 11452-1 overview. Given the large frequency range requirements, multiple antennas and amplifiers could be required. It also places specific requirements on test setups for the three main types of antennas, horn, log-periodic, and Biconical antenna. It also requires vertical polarization and horizontal polarization over varying ranges within the total range. Annex A covers Artificial Network (AN) which is required by this section in detail. It also splits the frequency range over four different frequency bands (F1-F4). Below is the suggested test severity level from Incompliance.
