Description

The EM Test Dito ESD Simulator is engineered to provide accurate and repeatable electrostatic discharge testing for a wide range of EMC applications. It delivers contact discharge levels up to 10 kV and air discharge levels up to 16.5 kV, making it an ideal solution for testing commercial, industrial, automotive, medical, aerospace, and telecommunications electronic products. With interchangeable RC discharge networks, the Dito can be configured to meet IEC 61000-4-2, ISO 10605, and many manufacturer-specific ESD immunity standards, providing the flexibility required for diverse compliance and product qualification testing.

Designed with EMC engineers in mind, the Dito features an intuitive user interface with pre-programmed test routines, adjustable output voltage, selectable discharge polarity, programmable repetition rates, and customizable test sequences. Its lightweight, ergonomic construction minimizes operator fatigue during extended testing while allowing easy access to difficult-to-reach test locations. A high-capacity rechargeable battery provides thousands of discharges on a single charge, making the simulator equally suited for laboratory use and on-site field testing. For increased productivity, optional PC software enables automated test execution, custom test sequence development, data logging, and detailed report generation, helping laboratories streamline testing, improve repeatability, and simplify documentation for compliance and quality assurance programs.

The EM Test Dito is designed primarily for IEC 61000-4-2 electrostatic discharge immunity testing. It is also possible to meet other requirements, including those of ISO 10605 with the correct corresponding RC networks.

All of our EM Test Dito rental units include a current ISO/IEC 17025 accredited annual calibration unless otherwise specified. Calibration documentation is included with the rental. When purchasing this system, there is an option whether or not to purchase the ISO 17025 calibration.

The EM Test Dito provides contact discharge testing up to 10 kV and air discharge testing up to 16.5 kV, covering the requirements of most commercial testing, including those of IEC 61000-4-2.

Each rental includes the ESD simulator, battery charger, standard discharge tips, current calibration certificate, and the manufacturer-supplied accessories. For a compliant list, refer to the included accessories section above. Contact our team with any questions.
