EN IEC 61000-4-12 defines test voltage and current waveform, ranges of test levels, test equipment, test set-up, and testing procedures. A ring wave with a defined .5μs rise time and 100kHz oscillation is determined to be typical and widely used for testing products. The verification of the test generator must meet rise time (voltage and current), oscillation frequency, decay, repetition frequency, open-circuit voltage, and short-circuit current. ECAT E503 Rental - Thermo Fisher/Keytek 100khz Ringwave to 6kV Module

The ECAT E503 by Thermo Fisher/Keytek is designed as a Ringwave generator up to 100kHz at 6kV. This Thermo Fisher Scientific EMI immunity test equipment rental comes with an A2LA accredited calibration and free technical support included. This rental is only for the ECAT E503 and not the ECAT E103 control control unit or other modules. 

This Thermo Fisher Scientific / Keytek EMC immunity generator provides single port testing and allows changing tests modes without switching off power to the equipment under test (EUT). This helps testing with the E503 be conducted efficiently without re-initializing the EUT between tests. The ECAT E103 is required for use and both ECAT units can be rented as an ECAT E103 & E503 combination.

The ECAT E503 is designed for testing to EN/IEC 61000-4-12, ANSI IEEE C62.41 Cat A& B, ANSI C62.45, UL864, and many other ringwave based standards. The modular system of this Thermo Fisher / Keytek product provides the ability to be upgraded providing the ability to upgrade test capabilities to meet the newest standards. The E503 and E513 combination can be controlled via front panel or through computer using Keytek software.

The CM 3CDSrg from Thermo Keytek is a three phase external coupler for EN IEC 61000-4-5 surge tests for the EMC ProPlus.


EM Test CNV504 - Dataline Coupler

EMTest CNV504N1.3 coupling/decoupling networks for unshielded  unsymmetrical interconnection signal/data lines. Surge pulses or Ringwave pulses are applied to unshielded unsymmetrical interconnected lines by means of standalone coupling/decoupling networks for 4 signal/data lines.

CNV 504 N1.3 combines three different applications; coupling of Surge pulse via capacitor or gas arrestor and coupling of Ringwave pulses via capacitor being required by EN IEC 61000-4-5 and/or EN IEC 61000-4-12. The required coupling mode, Differential or Common, can easily be selected by means of a simple jumper.

In accordance with EN IEC 61000-4-5 and EN IEC 61000-4-12 pulses are coupled via different coupling elements such as capacitors or gas arrestors depending on the characteristics of the line signals.


E103 Thermo Keytek ECAT Controller Rental - Requires generator modules to complete the system

Rent and buy the E103 by Thermo Fisher Scientific/Keytek is part of the 100 series control centers required for the operation of the ECAT testing system. This computer control has easy to use interface with LCD screen and keyboard entry system. This control center allows for multiple bay attachments for additional testing capabilities.   

This system comes with a single bay, software, and fibercom box and cable for connection to a computer. This series of module is the latest model of the series of control units produced by Thermo Keytek. This module has the advantage over the rest of the E100 series of providing surge V&I monitoring ports.

The ECAT test control center does not include any networks or other modules. The E103 system facilitates testing for a variety of modules and module combinations. This cost effective solution is in excellent working conduction and software can acquired with purchase.
