Description
The EMC Partner ESD3000 is a programmable electrostatic discharge (ESD) simulator designed for immunity testing to IEC 61000-4-2 and numerous automotive, aerospace, military, and manufacturer-specific ESD standards. Intended for compliance testing, product qualification, and EMC design verification, the ESD3000 generates highly repeatable contact and air discharge waveforms that accurately simulate real-world electrostatic discharge events.
The simulator features programmable output voltage, selectable positive and negative polarity, adjustable discharge repetition rates, and configurable test sequences for automated test execution. Interchangeable resistor-capacitor (RC) discharge networks allow the ESD3000 to support multiple international standards, providing flexibility for laboratories testing products across a variety of industries.
A high-resolution user interface enables rapid configuration of voltage, polarity, trigger mode, repetition frequency, and test duration, while onboard memory stores user-defined test programs for quick recall and improved repeatability. The rechargeable battery supports extended laboratory and field operation without external power.
Remote communication interfaces allow seamless integration with automated EMC test software for computer-controlled operation, data logging, and report generation. Combining precise waveform generation, advanced programming capabilities, and support for multiple ESD test standards, the EMC Partner ESD3000 is an ideal solution for evaluating the immunity of commercial, industrial, automotive, medical, aerospace, and defense electronic equipment.
