Description
The Rohde & Schwarz EPL1000 is a compact EMI test receiver designed for fast, accurate conducted emissions measurements from 5 kHz to 30 MHz. Suitable for both precompliance development work and formal compliance testing, it fully meets CISPR 16-1-1 requirements and supports the detectors and measurement bandwidths used for commercial, military, and aerospace EMC evaluations.
Time domain scan technology accelerates testing by measuring an entire CISPR band A or B in a single acquisition using the required CISPR resolution bandwidths. Up to three traces can be displayed with different detectors, allowing peak, quasi-peak, CISPR-average, and RMS-average results to be compared efficiently. Automatic scans across multiple user-defined frequency ranges help simplify repeatable test routines and final measurements.
Built-in preselection, a low-noise preamplifier, overload handling, and automatic dynamic-range control improve sensitivity while protecting the receiver from strong signals. The EPL1000 also provides tools for detailed disturbance analysis, with available capabilities including IF analysis, real-time spectrograms, and four-channel click-rate measurements.
Its compact design, optional battery operation, and 12 V to 24 V DC input support flexible use in laboratories or temporary test environments. Pair the EPL1000 with a compatible LISN, transient limiter, cables, and conducted emissions accessories to create a complete measurement system. Rental configurations include the receiver, required power accessories, documentation, and current calibration unless otherwise specified for your specific test application.
