Description

The Haefely AXOS 8 is an expandable transient immunity generator that combines multiple high-voltage test functions in one system. It produces combination wave surges up to 7 kV open circuit and 3.5 kA short circuit, electrical fast transient/burst pulses up to 5 kV, and 100 kHz ring wave pulses up to 7 kV. Its built-in single-phase coupling decoupling network supports equipment under test operating at up to 264 V and 16 A AC or 220 V and 10 A DC.

Designed for compliance, pre-compliance, development, and troubleshooting, the AXOS 8 supports IEC/EN 61000-4-4 EFT/burst, IEC/EN 61000-4-5 surge, and IEC/EN 61000-4-12 ring wave testing. Its ring wave capability also supports applicable ANSI/IEEE C62.41 requirements. With compatible external equipment, the platform can be expanded for telecom surge, voltage dips and interruptions, pulsed magnetic fields, three-phase power lines, and signal or data-line testing.

The color touchscreen provides straightforward access to voltage, polarity, coupling paths, synchronization, repetition, and automated standards routines. Predefined tests and visual setup guidance help reduce configuration time, while voltage and current monitoring outputs provide feedback during testing. Optional remote-control and reporting software can link individual test routines into automated sequences and generate test documentation.

Renting the Haefely AXOS 8 is ideal for short-term compliance programs, design verification, troubleshooting, or temporary laboratory capacity. Rentals include operating cables, accessories, documentation, a shipping case, and current ISO/IEC 17025-accredited calibration unless otherwise specified.
