Description
Voltage dips and short interruptions are caused by faults in the network, primarily short circuits, in installations or by sudden large changes of load. In certain cases, two or more consecutive dips or interruptions may occur. Voltage variations are caused by continuously varying loads connected to the network.
The DIP 116 is an Automatic Dips Single phase Transformer and can be used to simulate power supply failures as voltage interrupts, designed as the accessory compatible with AXOS5 /AXOS8 .
The DIP 116 has an independent connection to an external power supply via banana plugs. Once the setup is done it can be fully automatically controlled through the touch screen of the AXOS5 /AXOS8 when being in the menu field of the “Voltage Dips”.
Once detected, the recommended dip percent value (given by standard) can be programmed in the AXOS menu.
