Description

Portable multifunction impulse test generator with plug-ins for MIL-STD and DO-160 applications. Test capability is easily extended with the seven plug-in modules. Couplers and calibration accessories complete the solution.

A versatile, flexible system that uses modules to provide a wide variety of impulse types for many applications. All versions of MIL-STD-461 impulse test requirements are available, including CS06, CS106, CS115 and CS116. Additional modules are available for DO-160 section 17 and 19 applications. A full range of test and calibration accessories compliment this practical solution. A colour touch panel assists with test programming through the use of graphic help functions. The integrated web server makes it easy to view test report data in any internet browser.

MIL-MG3

MIL-MG3 system comprises a base unit with user changeable impulse modules. A coupling transformer, for cable injection tests, completes the system. The 7 inch graphic colour touch panel provides an intuitive and comfortable user interface.
Interactive parameter input, help text and graphic illustrations guide the user through the instrument programming process.

Modules

Modules are available for MIL-MG3 system to cover different test requirements. Users can select a module for an individual test and add additional modules to enhance the test system capability. New modules are automatically recognized and controlled by the MIL-MG3 base unit. All modules are independent and can be ordered at any time.

CN-BT6

Injection probe for CS115 and also CS116. A single coupler that covers the complete frequency range 10 kHz up to 100 MHz. Aperture 5 cm for large cable bundles.

This rental configuration supports MIL-STD-461 CS115 bulk cable injection pulse testing and CS116 damped sinusoidal transient testing.

The system includes the MIL3-REC module for CS115 and the MIL3-10K10M and MIL3-30M100M modules for CS116 testing.

The included modules generate the six standard CS116 frequencies: 10 kHz, 100 kHz, 1 MHz, 10 MHz, 30 MHz, and 100 MHz.

The MIL3-REC module produces adjustable 1 to 10 A pulses into 100 ohms with rise and fall times below 2 ns and a pulse duration of at least 30 ns.

Yes. The CN-BT6 injection probe is included and supports CS115 and CS116 testing across the complete 10 kHz to 100 MHz CS116 frequency range. Its 5 cm aperture accommodates large cable bundles.
