Description

The EMC Partner IMU-MGE F5-S6-R6 is a modular conducted immunity test system configured for electrical fast transient (EFT), surge, and 100 kHz ring wave testing. Combining three test functions in one instrument helps laboratories evaluate how equipment responds to switching transients, power line surges, and oscillatory disturbances without changing generators between tests.

The F5 module delivers EFT bursts up to 5.3 kV for testing to IEC 61000-4-4. Its adjustable burst timing, repetition rate, polarity, and synchronization support a range of test plans. The S6 module generates the 1.2/50 µs voltage and 8/20 µs current combination wave used for IEC 61000-4-5 surge testing, with open circuit voltage up to 6.6 kV and short circuit current up to 3.3 kA. The R6 module supplies 100 kHz ring wave impulses up to 6.6 kV for IEC 61000-4-12 testing.

An integrated 16 A coupling decoupling network supports testing on powered equipment, while the touchscreen interface simplifies setup and test execution. Programmable test levels, coupling paths, and phase angles help technicians repeat procedures consistently. The IMU-MGE F5-S6-R6 suits development, troubleshooting, and immunity evaluations across industrial and commercial equipment applications.

The IMU-MGE F5-S6-R6 combines EFT, combination wave surge, and 100 kHz ring wave testing in one instrument. These functions support IEC 61000-4-4, IEC 61000-4-5, and IEC 61000-4-12, respectively. The system allows you to perform several conducted immunity tests without changing generators.

The IMU-MGE rental includes current ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration documentation. Calibration certificates accompany the equipment and can also be provided electronically before shipment. Let us know if your quality system requires a certificate review before the rental ships.

The IMU-MGE rental includes a laptop with TEMA3000 software. The software supports creating and managing tests, organizing sequences, and preparing test reports. The generator can also be operated directly through its built-in color touchscreen

Yes, three-phase testing requires a compatible external coupling decoupling network. The EMC Partner CDN-M-6-32 supports equipment operating up to 690 volts AC line to line and 32 amps per phase, with surge and EFT test levels up to 6 kV. Ring wave testing requires the CDN’s optional ring wave configuration, so include that requirement in your request.
