Bulk current injection (BCI) is a method of injection RF onto different cables/lines associated with conducted/radiated immunity testing. This method calls for a probe and a calibration fixture or jig to ensure the probe is working. This is done prior to testing and MIL-STD-461 provides additional guidelines on when/if it is required. This series of tests can also include EM Clamps (electromagnetic compatibility) and coupling decoupling networks (CDNs) as a means of putting RF onto different cables.
