CISPR 35 applies to multimedia equipment (MME) having a rated AC or DC supply voltage not exceeding 600 V. It includes immunity testing for electrostatic discharge (ESD), electrical fast transients (EFT/Burst) testing, lightning surge testing, voltage dips and interrupts, and conducted RF testing. It replaces CISPR 20(EN 55020) and CISPR 24(EN 55024). The main focus of this standard is the testing only needs to be preformed on the main or primary functions of the equipment.
