Overview

The capacitive coupling clamp by Thermo-Keytek is designed for EFT pulses on I/O lines or data lines per EN/IEC 61000-4-4. This equipment is fully compliant with the specifications of IEC 61000-4-4 Ed 2.0 2004, as well as with the draft of EN/IEC 61000-4-4 Ed 3.0 published in 2012. These testing accessories have the capabilities to work with a variety of conducted immunity generators from many manufacturers, making it an ideal solution.

Overview

The EM Test capacitive coupling clamp by EMTest is used to couple pulses to I/O lines required in ISO 7637 waveform 3b and other automotive testing standards. It allows for cable up to 40mm in diameter and has a characteristic impedance of 50 ohms. An ISO 17025 accredited calibration is included in the EMC rental equipment price.

The effective coupling capacitance of the coupling clamp depends on the diameter and the material of the used cables. A typical estimated value can be expected around 100 pF. This clamp is specially designed to meet automotive standards specifically ISO 7637.

The coupling on signal lines of this Automotive EMC Test Equipment can usually not be effected capacitively without interfering with the signal flow. It is often impossible to contact the required circuit (direct), e.g. coaxial or shielded cables. In this case the coupling is realized with the capacitive coupling clamp. The interference simulator can be connected via a coaxial cable on both sides of the ACC coupling clamp.

Overview

The KEMZ clamp made by Teseq is an RF current lnjection clamp, having inductive and capacitive coupling and allowing the induction of large currents on cables in the frequency range of 0.15 to 1000 MHz. This Teseq RF coupling clamp induces a current on a cable by using inductive and capacitive coupling at the same time. The KEMZ design has made it possible to improve the frequency range up to 1000 MHz by modifying the primary winding. This EM Test product is designed for testing to EN/IEC 61000-4-6 and many other conducted RF EMC standards.

Overview

The Teseq CDN3425 (Teseq CCL) main purpose is to couple Burst/EFT pulses to data lines. It can also be used to couple to mains lines where no CDN is available; for example, high current lines >200 A. This coupling decoupling network (CDN) capacitive coupling clamp (CCL) comes with an ISO 17025 accredited calibration and works with a many conducted immunity generators

The new design is fully compliant with the specifications of IEC 61000-4-4 Ed 2.0 2004, as well as with the draft of EN/IEC 61000-4-4 Ed 3.0 to be published in 2012. This model also replaces earlier models CDN 8014 and CDN 8015.The coupling capacitance between the coupling clamp and the cable laid in it depends on the cable characteristics.
