Description
Overview
Surge pulses are applied to high voltage and high current supply lines by means of standalone coupling/decoupling networks. For such testing AMETEK CTS offers the PCD 8 s-3-1000-100 for supply lines up to 3 * 690 V AC, 1.000 V DC and up to 100 A. According to IEC/EN 61000-4-5 the pulses are manually coupled via cable loops for line to line (2 ohm/18 uF) or line to PE (12 Ohm/9 uF) coupling.
