What is Conducted Immunity?
Conducted immunity is a devices ability to withstand noise or interference transmitted via direct physical connection, commonly through power or data lines.
This large category of EMC test encompases a wide variety of requirements, the most common include, electrostatic discharge (ESD), combination wave surges, electrical fast transients (EFT), conucted RF testing, as well as a many others. Tests are typically conducted with the equipment under test (EUT) power on and any deviations from normal operation are noted and compared to the underlying standard to determine if the EUT passed testing.
