Overview
The TF 130-150 is a wire support test fixture to test the immunity against conducted disturbances according to Ford EMC-CS-2009. The standard describes 2 methods of conducted immunity testing with TF130-150:
RI 130 is related to component immunity from wire to wire coupling of unintended transient disturbances. These may occur when inductive loads are switched e.g. motors or solenoids.
RI 150 is related to component immunity from wire to wire coupling of unintended continuous disturbances. These may occur when high current pulse-width modulated (PWM) equipment is operated. Examples are the ignition system or charging electronics.
The test methods are described in detail in the Ford standard EMC-CS-2009 which can be downloaded from www.ford-emc.com
