Capacitive Coupling Clamps - Rent Clamps for Testing Data Lines
Capacitive coupling clamps are designed for coupling both electrical fast transient (EFT) and less commonly damped oscillatory pulses (DOW) onto data or I/O lines.
Rent and buy used capacitive coupling clamps designed for compliant testing to both EN/IEC 61000-4-4 and ISO 7637-2/3 criteria. The main purpose is to couple Burst/EFT pulses to data lines. It can also be used to couple to mains lines where no CDN is available; for example, high current lines >200 A. These passive components typically do not require a matching generator from the same manufacturer so long as a cord with the correct adapters is provided. Typically these clamps are rented with EFT/Burst generator and (pulse) verification kit. All of the equipment including the clamp can be rented individually to supplement existing capabilities or a system.
