Overview

The Teseq NSG 3040 electromagnetic immunity (EMI) test generator provides 4.4kV Surge and 4.4kV electrical fast transient (EFT) with a built-in single phase coupler and is designed primarily for cable-borne transient interference tests. A2LA accredited calibration is included in the EMC rental equipment price. This Teseq products modular architecture and industry standard interfaces allow it to be easily expanded and customized to meet individual testing needs.

This Immunity Test Generator is designed to fulfill conducted EMC testing requirements for CE mark testing, including Combination Wave Surge (4.4 kV), Electrical Fast Transient (EFT) pulses (4.8 kV) and Power Quality Testing (PQT). The NSG3040 includes a 7" color screen and easy to manage user-interface allowing for easy adjustments with the thumb-wheel. This EMC test equipment can also be controlled via PC through the Ethernet Port.

This Teseq (previously known as Schaffner) surge/immunity generator is an all in one box that tests to EN/IEC 61000-4-4, EN/IEC 61000-4-5 and EN/IEC 61000-4-11 and CE Mark with optional INA 6502. Expansion capabilities enable the system to be configured for a much broader range of applications including Telecom Surge 10/700 and Magnetic Field tests. This pulse generator, similar to the NSG 3060, provides the same easy to use interface and connection methods.
